1 | Arrival / Beijing
On arrival you
will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of day is at
leisure. |
day 2 | Tiananmen
Square Forbidden City Temple of Heaven
Your sightseeing this morning is Tiananmen
Square and Forbidden City, known as the Palace Museum .After lunch, visit the
Temple of Heaven£¬the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped
heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. You will have a chance to appreciate
the unique Beijing Opera performances.(Lunch/Dinner) |

3 | Great Wall Ming Tomb
A morning
tour of the Great Wall- the landmark of China. After Chinese style Lunch you will
be driven to visit Ming Tombs.( Lunch) |

4 | Summer Palace Hutong
Morning tour
of SummerPalace. You will be treated to a delicious Beijing roasted duck lunch.
Take rickshaw(Jianozi) toexplore the picturesque ShishahaiLake area and ¡°hutong¡±.

5 | Beijing/Chengde Summer Resort
Take
a 5 hour train ride(soft-seat) for Chengde, an ideal tourist destination roughly
230 km from Beijing. Upon arrival you will be met by a local tour guide and escorted
to the Yunshan Hotel. After lunch, visit Bishushanzhuang meaning the "Summer
Resort Mountain Villas", which is the largest existing ancient imperial park
in the China.(Lunch) |

6 | Universal Peace Temple Putozongsheng
Temple Mountain-Hammer Peak
A morning tour of the Universal Peace Temple first.
These Tibetan-styled buildings were built by the Qing emperors to commemorate
the victory in quelling the rebellion of the Junggaar people in the north. Then
we take you to the Putozongsheng Temple, the largest one of the "Eight Outer
Temples" in Chengde, modeled on the Potala Palace in Tibet. After lunch we
take the cable car up the Mountain-Hammer Peak to have a bird¡¯s-eye view of the
whole city.(Lunch) |

7 | Chengde/Beijing
At leisure in the
morning, then take the train back to Beijing in the afternoon. |

8 | Home returning - Transfer to airport. |
