Upon
arrival you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of
day is at leisure or you can explore the city on your own. |

2 | Tiananmen Square Forbidden City Temple
of Heaven Beijing Opera
Your sightseeing this morning is Tiananmen Square
and Forbidden City, known as the Palace Museum. After lunch, visit the Temple
of Heaven£¬the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven
and prayed for peace and good harvest. You will have a chance to appreciate the
unique Beijing Opera performances.(Lunch/Dinner) |

3 | Great Wall Ming Tomb
A morning
tour of the Great Wall- the landmark of China. After Chinese style Lunch you will
be driven to visit Ming Tomb.(Lunch) |

4 | Summer Palace Beijing/Kunming Golden
Temple Park Grand View Pavilion Folklore Show
Morning tour of Summer Palace.
You will be treated to a delicious Beijing roasted duck lunch. Transfer to the
airport and take the flight to Kunming. The city is nicknamed "City of the
Spring" due to the fact that it is covered all the year round with the rich
verdure of trees and flowers. Your sightseeing today features a tour of the Golden
Temple Park, where the ¡¯99 International Horticulture Exposition taken place.
Then we head for the Grand View Pavilion, and get a bird view of the Dianchi Lake-sparkling
pearl imbedded in a highland. In the evening we enjoy a folklore show while appreciating
the specialties of Kunming.(Lunch/Dinner) |

5 | Stone Forest Kunming/Xishuangbanna
A
full day excursion to the Stone Forest, roughly 100km from Kunming. It is a world
of stone peaks, stalactite-stalagmites, subterranean rivers and underground limestone
caves. For this topographical turmoil the place is dubbed "Number One Wonder
in the World". Return to Kunming and head for Xishuangbanna by night flight.(Lunch) |

6 | Ethnic Culture Garden Xishuangbanna/Kunming
This
exciting day of sightseeing in Xishuangbanna features a visit to the Ethnic Culture
Garden. Yunnan province is the home for 26 minority groups and each group boosts
its old and splendid culture. In the garden we visit villages of different minority
groups, join in the performance of ethnic songs and dances, and appreciate waxworks,
weaving cotton cloth, and other handcrafts.Departue for Kunming by air.(Lunch) |

7 | Kunming/Lijiang Dongba Culture Research
Centre Baisha Frescoes
Departure for the ancient city of Lijiang. Lijiang
is a largely Naxi settlement built some eight centuries ago. In 1997 the UNESCO
put it on the list of the world¡¯s major cultural heritages. Here we also visit
Dongba Culture Research Centre and Baisha Frescoes.(Lunch) |

8 | Lijiang/Dali
Today we go to Dali
via coach. On the half-day journey we pass picturesque snow mountains, the breath-taking
Hutiao Gorge and peaceful lakes on the highland. Then we reach the ancient city
of Dali with a history of more than 600 years. You will be treated to a special
ethnic dinner.(Lunch/Dinner) |

9 | Three Pagodas Chongshen Monastery Chongshen
Monastery
In Dali we visit the Three Pagodas of Chongshen Monastery, Butterfly
Spring and the old city gate.(Lunch) |

10 | Dali/Kunming Folklore Museum
Head
for Kunming by air. Being the capital of Yunnan province, the colorful ethnic
cultures attract us to visit the Folklore Museum, where we find ourselves reluctant
to leave away.(Lunch) |

11 | Home returning - Transfer to airport. |
